So I just got back from Virginia. What? Crazy. I don't usually post my vacation plans. I have watched one too many episodes of Law and Order SVU to be like: "hey rapists! I'm over here and I'm aaaall alone!"

Anyway. It was a whirlwind. I left Miss Georgie behind with Scott and I was proud of myself for only crying a little at the airport that morning. I don't think I've been away from her for more than 12 hours before this trip. But alas, I knew the schedule would be way too hard on her (it would have been. Or rather, I would have been stuck somewhere with her napping) with only me to rely on. It was nice to have the freedom to help with my cousins wedding with no child-rearing guilt. It was also nice to sleep in until 2pm (you read that right) the day AFTER the wedding.

All in all I feel like the whole weekend can be summed up with the words beauty, family, and nausea. The weather was GORGEOUS. Heeelllooo 70 degrees and humidity to clear up my skin! I was surrounded by my Kitchens family who crack me up and I got a reunion with my college besties that included pink cowboy hats, fake mustaches and "boot shots" of pink lemonade. My cousin and I got to spend time together the day before she got married as I drove her to Maryland to pick up her flowers. I don't know when I will see her again so it was nice to get some alone time with the bride. She looked like a Disney princess on her wedding day and I don't think I have ever seen her so happy. I could just cry I'm so thrilled for her!

And not to be a downer, but it must be mentioned that I puked 4 times on my 45 minute flight from Salt Lake to Denver. Not bad considering it was the first time I have thrown up during this pregnancy. I don't think it's hormones though- I truly think it's just heightened motion sickness. The poor guy sitting next to me on that flight was nestled between TWO pregnant women! When I got off the plane in Denver, I kind of felt like passing out. I was just about to ask the massage parlor next to the food court (!) if I could pay to lay down on one of their tables, when I asked information if there was another place to lay down. The point is that I ended up bumming the service of the USO in the airport and instantly fell asleep in one of their recliners... even though I'm not military affiliated... way to go Carrie. Way to take advantage of a non-profit organization to help military families. Their donation check is in the mail. I was grateful for that 45 minute nap.

This post feels like I'm rambling. I'm kind of fried. Ever since I got back from Virginia Georgia has been... punishing me? I don't know. I've just never seen her this defiant before! She's crazy sassy and refuses to listen. It's both driving me nuts and making me sad and wondering what happened. Scott says he swears he didn't ruin her haha! Love and Logic don't fail me now!

I gotta go to bed.
