Today we celebrated Miss Georgia turning 3. And by celebrated, I mean "partied hard."
She is currently sound asleep and I'm afraid of her sugar crash that I will endure for the next few days, but it was worth it. You only celebrate turning 3 once.
Activities including a bean bag toss, a bounce house, a pinata and story time by yours truly.
We put the blindfold on Georgia but she held it up and peeked in an effort to hit the pinata.
All the little kids got a turn, but they didn't even make a dent. Especially Ashton, who only hit the tree.
Even our big kid, Austin, couldn't get it cracked open! So Scott came in and smashed it because you can only tell a group of small children "the candy is coming" for so long.
Then it was time for presents! I didn't get a picture of Georgia on her new scooter! I will probably do a whole other blog post about it later anyway ;) Everyone was so incredibly generous and Georgia has been in heaven.
Making beautiful cakes is NOT one of my talents. Good thing Georgie could not have cared less.
We are so grateful for all of the friends that came out to party!
I love throwing parties and Scott tolerates my craziness. I am lucky to have a husband who wants to be so involved in the little parts of his kids lives.
I have so many people in my life to celebrate! Georgia doesn't turn 3 until Saturday but I have been exploding with nostalgia all week. This is the first time in her short life that I have actually gotten sad about her getting older. I have all kinds of emotions about it that I redirected into water bottle labels and paper flowers. Now that I don't have that to distract me, I'm afraid I am going to be a mess. I am so lucky to be her mom.
