Hi. I'm Carrie, and I'm seeking happiness.
I graduated from BYU-Idaho in Social Work and am now a stay-at-home mom. I enjoy creating, improv theatre, popcorn, and laughing at things that are funny.
This is Scott. He is my patient husband. He just graduated with his associates and goes to the U of U where he studies geography (or, GIS if you know what that is). He likes cooking, playing the guitar and planning trips we could never afford.
Scott is left handed so I can't sit on his left side when we're eating because then we'll bump elbows.
In June of 2011, we welcomed Miss Georgia
She's our daughter. She enjoys pulling things off of shelves, being chased/tickled and eating bananas.
Together we are the Chapman's who enjoy being members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We strive to keep who we are and what we do in line with the teachings of Christ, and found that even though we're not always good at it, that's when we are our happiest.
We both served missions for our Church:
Scott for 2 years in Capetown, South Africa
And I for 18 months in Toronto, Canada.
When we were dating, we realized we would never have an easier relationship with anyone else and decided to get married and be together forever.
We like to eat, and watch 30 Rock on Netflix. We also want a dog really, really bad.
This is why I blog:
"Use every letter you write,
every conversation you have,
every meeting you attend,
to express your fundamental beliefs and dreams.
Affirm to others the vision of the world you want.
You are a free, immensely powerful
source of life and goodness.
Think day and night about it and
you will see a miracle happen:
the greatness of your own life."
